BUCHAREST:
Bucharest is the capital and largest city of Romania. The metropolis stands on the River Dâmbovița in south-eastern Romania.
Groceries and Laundry:
After being in Bulgaria for a week, it was time for grocery shopping and laundry. Bucharest has several outdoor laundry facilities next to supermarkets with easy parking.

Like in Sofia and Plovdiv Bulgaria, our accommodation, the Hotel Capitol, was in the city center of Bucharest, so we were in easy walking distance from the major sites.

Pasajul Macca-Vilacrosse is a fork-shaped, yellow glass covered arcaded street in central Bucharest, Romania. Câmpineanu Inn once stood in the place nowadays occupied by the passage.

Zlătari Church (Biserica Zlătari):
Zlătari Church is a Romanian Orthodox church dedicated to the Nativity of Mary. Reportedly, the first church on the site was built in the mid-17th century, likely of wood, and is mentioned in a 1667 document.

Stavropoleos Monastery, also known as Stavropoleos Church during the last century when the monastery was dissolved, is an Eastern Orthodox monastery for nuns in central Bucharest, Romania. Its church is built in Brâncovenesc style. The patrons of the church are St. Archangels Michael and Gabriel.

PeleÈ™ Castle is a Neo-Renaissance palace in the Royal Domain of Sinaia in the Carpathian Mountains, on an existing medieval route linking Transylvania and Wallachia, built between 1873 and 1914. Its inauguration was held in 1883. It was constructed for King Carol I of Romania.
