WALLACE, IDAHO:
On this day we toured Wallace’s Oasis Bordello Museum, the Railroad Depot Museum, the Mining Museum, took the Sierra Silver Mine Tour and watched the annual Idaho Statehood Parade.
Oasis Bordello Museum:
The Oasis Bordello Museum is a former operating bordello in the historic mining town of Wallace Idaho. It is preserved exactly as it was left when it had to close its doors in 1988. The Oasis was hardly a unique establishment, being one of five such brothels along the town’s main street.
